Yumi stood at a nearby river bank in a meadow where trees containing cherry blossoms bloomed beautifully. All seemed peaceful and quiet
for her, all except one thing. That one thing was a bothersome dilemma. Not only bothersome, but a very emotional and personal dilemma. "What
am I to do?" she asked herself. "Why am I so torn between two different sides?" She had, indeed, two sides to choose from: the Wanderer...or
Lone Wolf.
'The Wanderer...he's done so much for me and protects me with his life. He would do anything to keep me safe. Hell, he even saved me
countless times from being violated and he's saved me from falling to my death. But on the other hand, there's Lone Wolf...that mysterious, yet
kind Lone Wolf of the Inari Clan. There's something about him that I can't exactly pin point...but it's there...especially after he helped me get
away from that strange demon.' As this was running through her mind, numerous bunches of cherry blossom petals flew past her. She held out a
hand to feel the petals lightly touch her fingers as they flew past, tears welling up in her eyes.
'Why? Why does this have to be such torture?' She lightly crossed her arms, clenching her sleeves into her hands tightly. She immediately
dropped to her knees and cried.
